Itinerary
DAY 1: Kigali Pickup → Scenic Countryside Drive → Nyungwe National Park → Dinner & Overnight
Your guide will pick you up from your hotel in Kigali, and you’ll start a beautiful drive through Rwanda’s rolling hills, villages, Culture center like Kings Palace Museum and endless green landscapes. Enjoy scenic stops along the way, including tea plantations and local viewpoints. Arrive in Nyungwe National Park in the afternoon and Have A lunch inside The Park Then settle into your lodge, surrounded by peaceful forest air. Relax, enjoy dinner, and prepare for your chimpanzee adventure the next morning.
DAY 2: Early Chimpanzee Trekking → Forest Experience → Return to Kigali (Optional Canopy Walk if Time Allows)
Your guide will meet you early 5 Am , then transfer you to the trekking point for your chimpanzee briefing. Begin your chimpanzee trekking adventure, following forest rangers through misty rainforest paths as the forest wakes up with morning calls and fresh mountain air. Once you find the chimpanzees, enjoy your magical hour observing their behavior, interactions, and forest life. After your trek, enjoy a relaxing moment at a nearby viewpoint or tea plantation. (If time allows, you may choose to add the Nyungwe Canopy Walk — optional and customizable.) Drive back to Kigali for drop-off at your hotel or the airport.
